Setting a New Password

Do you want to reset a password or assign a new login?

The procedure varies depending on the authentication method you are using.

Login via maXzie’s inherent authentication solution

Section titled “Login via maXzie’s inherent authentication solution”

If you want to assign a new login, select the option “Employee is allowed to log in” at the bottom of the employee master data and assign a unique name under “Login-Name”.

You can then automatically generate the password and have it sent via email.

If there are issues with email delivery, please contact support@news-innovativ.de.

Alternatively, you can display the temporary password directly on the interface. To do this, uncheck the “Send password by email” option. You can then transmit the temporary password through other means.

If there are still issues, you can define the temporary password yourself. To do this, uncheck the “Create password automatically” option and enter any temporary password in the appearing field, which you can then transmit yourself.

If none of this resolves the issues, please contact support@news-innovativ.de.

To correctly assign a login in this case, ensure that the login name stored in maXzie matches the login name of the SSO system in the employee master data. If problems persist, please contact your system administrators who manage the SSO logins. If they cannot resolve the issues, please contact support@news-innovativ.de.

If maXzie is installed on-premises (i.e., on your company’s servers), it is possible that the login is managed through your local Active Directory.
